Ford focus was unveiled in the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas and is expected to arrive at the showrooms during late 2011.It has some cool features which would make it a tough competitor of Nissan Leaf and chevrolet volt.The focus is expected to cover 100 miles or 160 kilometers with electric charge.A 23 kwh high-voltage, lightweight lithium-ion battery will provide its energy to the car.The single speed transmission is embeded to handle the high rpm range.

There is SYNC® with MyFord Touch™ technology in the Focus electric which provides great connectivity to your music, navigation and favorite devices.There are five way buttons on the steering wheel through which you can customize your view in two 4.2 inch LCD instrument.

MyKey™ is a very important feature through which separate keys are assigned for additional drivers.The limits can be put to the top speed of the vehicle and also to the stero volume through programing its settings which is quiet simple.

The entertainment system comes with a standard Sony® Audio System, nine speakers and HD Radio™.The navigation system uses the MyFord Touch™  and  8 inch touch screen. The system  provides an EcoRoute option, which gives the most energy efficient route to the destination.
